Our Origin
Eval Academy was launched in January 2020 by an Alberta-based evaluation consulting company, Three Hive Consulting. Three Hive started this website to share evaluation resources it had developed and used through its evaluation consulting work. Our content is focused on helping evaluators, program managers, students — anybody! — to understand evaluation and how they can do it better.
About Three Hive Consulting
Three Hive Consulting is an Indigenous-owned, Alberta-based consulting firm. Our practice specializes in evaluation, providing clients with information, people and tools to learn and improve.
Three Hive has been serving clients in the non-profit, government and healthcare sectors since 2015. We work with some clients on a multi-year basis, and others for just a few months. We love to help mission-focused, people-helping organizations.
We aim to be not just a great evaluation consultancy, but also a great place to work. We are a Certified Alberta Living Wage Employer and prioritize our team’s growth and wellbeing. Right now, we’re piloting a 4-day work week, and can’t wait to share what we learn.
